Savvy September, you are here at last! School has officially started and even though the days are still sweltering, we can officially say it is fall in Boise.
As I stated in my preview a few weeks ago, hats are THE accessory for fall! I have been seeing everything from knits to fedoras, and if there is a feather embellishment, even better!
Colors, some of which I mentioned here, will be seen with the underlying favorites being tone on tone blacks and grays. If you are looking to be twice as fierce, then you'll want to pair these gothic colors up with another trend this fall, metallics.
A few looks worthy of honorable mention are fur embellishments. Velvets, Russian inspired fashion using the aforementioned trend of fur along with rich colors will also be en vogue. Sounds like the perfect opportunity for some shopping!
Even though Fall Fashion Week took place last February, you may have just started wondering what fantastic trends will be en vogue this season. Here is Part 1 of the latest in hot looks you will be seeing all over town.
Get ready to re-visit the 80’s, ladies. It is all back! Neon colors (pink specifically), short minidresses, and strong shoulder silhouettes (think Dallas). As for myself, I am not getting near shoulder pads anytime soon, but the word on the street is that these shapely shoulders are here whether we like it or not!

I must admit, this is one trend I am a bit nervous about breaking out. There is a fine line between fashion fabulocity and hooker-mamma. Don’t get me wrong, the look is hot, but I just can’t picture myself sitting in church wearing my thigh highs. We’ll see.

They say the only place where a woman doesn’t age is her collar-bone and shoulders, so let’s accentuate the positive! You will continue to see this look in stores, so purchase one of these sexy numbers for your fashion repertoire.

Well, I am relieved to know that my closet is back in fashion. I own thigh-high boots, numerous hats, and also shoulder pads. Who is a fashion-ista?
This is a great fun blog, Jessie. How come you continue to be so dang perfect?
